Not so long ago I realised that one cake staple has never been made in my kitchen: banana bread! So I decided to try out two variations. First I shared Joy the Baker’s brown butter banana bread. This week I’m going to share with you banana bars with rum butter frosting from Better Homes and Gardens.
At first I found the frosting on this a bit two sweet, but after you’ve had a few bars it grows on you! These bars would be just as delicious without the frosting: they’re light and moist and tasty.
